Is Medda free?
Creating an account with Medda is free for both patients and providers. Patients can upload and store their health records to generate organized summaries of their health history. Providers can review any health summary shared with them (coming soon), with additional paid products and services available for both to enhance the care experience.
Is my health data secure?
Yes. Medda is built in Canada and operates in full compliance with Canadian health privacy legislation. Your information is encrypted, protected, and never sold or shared without your consent.
Does Medda provide medical care or advice?
Medda has a clinical arm that provides care in select provinces, though these services are not yet integrated into the platform. Any use of the platform, including AI tools, is intended to help you understand and organize your health information. It is not a substitute for medical advice and any decisions about your care should always involve a qualified health professional.
Can Medda retrieve my health records for me?
Yes. For a one-time service fee, Medda will contact your care providers and reconstruct your health history on your behalf to ensure you have a clinically reliable and complete picture of your care. Retrieval success depends on provider response and record availability. If some records cannot be obtained, we will let you know.
Where is Medda available?
